So it was one of those leisurely Saturday mornings when I was gonna make enough breakfast to last the week. So I wake up, bright and early with my little three month old, and I am ready to start the day. Ahead of the kids a bit, I rush in the kitchen. I'm thinking if I can just get everything going for breakfast, I can get three breakfasts for the week out of the morning. Pancakes for everybody! What a super mom...or...not!
So I get everything mixed and set up and reach into the fridge for eggs....................ugh! My excitement withered. My wonderful hubby had breakfast on the top shelf. My hubby was being as wonderful as ever and he made overnight oats Friday night for Saturday morning. Yup! Isn't he the best. He was hoping that I wouldn't have to be in
the kitchen too long so he made this super easy yummy breakfast. All his work, all my work, and not a leisurely morning. Pancakes and clean up went into mid morning. However lunch sure was easy...oh well. We both tried and succeeded, in our own way. The communications of man and woman. Don't ya just love it.
